Can you imput weight amounts to foods for exact measurements? for example 2.8 ounce banana or 3.6 ounce restaurant tortilla chips.

Yes. You can put in decimal amounts when you record food. It usually defaults to the specified serving size, but usually if you click the pull down menu, it will let you select 1 ounce or gram (depending on how the serving size was originally entered) at which point you can enter 2.8 or whatever. That being said, of course you should verify the info in the entry first. Also, if an entry is correct, but doesn't give you the serving size you need (grams instead of ounces, or vice versa, then (on the web at least) you can mark it as not correct, and just change the servings to the measurement you are using (I typically change things to grams, as I find them to be more precise.) and then save it. Then when you search, typically the item you edited will end up at the top of the list, and will not have as asterisk. Just make sure if you edit the serving size, that the information is correct for the serving size you put in, so it will calculate properly in the future. Good luck.
