I was reading the schedule for this program on bb.com and it looks awesome!!! but i'm not able to work out at my gym 5 consecutive days in a row. has anyone else done this plan, but taken your rest days throughout the week rather than all 3 at the end of the week? thanks in advance :)

Yes for a short time I followed her program, and I just tweaked it to fit my schedule. Still got great results. :)

Very easy to adapt to your schedule and there is a Facebook Group people following her program. It's a great support system. https://www.facebook.com/groups/JE12WeekTrainer/

I've been adapting it to do at home and to fit my schedule, and I really like it a lot. I'm halfway through month 2, and I have to admit to taking longer than a week to finish each week because by this point it's 6 days per week, and that's not always feasible. I'm still getting good results, though.

Ask me all the questions you want!!! I'm on day 21. I'm not new to lifting so I've found phase 1 to be pretty easy (obviously I'm still lifting heavy, but the time commitment isn't that bad). I've taken phase 1 as time to really really focus on my diet...check out my diary...it's pretty true to her recommendations (can't do egg whites for an evening snack though!). I'm excited to get into phase 2 and start some cardio again. I know it's going to be a huge time commitment, but I'm prepared for that. I'll likely have to hit the gym 2 times a day on the days when I lift and have cardio/sprints. I will probably have to add in an extra rest day to my week in order to work around my hectic work schedule, so it may take me an extra 7-8 days to finish the program.

I'm really enjoying the program at this point...check back with me in another couple weeks though

I love this program. I'm on day 32. Phase 1 was pretty easy. The workouts were super manageable. Just getting into phase 2. The workouts are much longer, but still doable. I did cardio all throughout phase 1 (which is not in Jamie's workout). I must say I'm loving how I feel each morning. My body feels like it is getting super toned.... which I love! I say go for it!

Sincerely I do not think this program is a good introduction to newbie. I would suggest programs like stronglift or the new rules of lifting. Those are based on the big whole body lifts like deadlifts, squats and bench press and should only be done 2-3 times a week

Exactly. Beginners don't need to do so much isolation work and/or body part splits. A good full-body workout 3 days a week is perfect. I'd suggest this:

I agree, I think it is a nice program (I'm currently in stage 2) but I've done New Rules of Lifting twice, and several other programs.

Get the New Rules book. That is a perfect program for a newbie.

I'm on week 5. It's a great program. I've been an avide bodybuilder for years and I was looking for a shake up in my routine. This is awesome! I'm using a different eating plan. My goals are to build up muscle and zap the fat!
