really sore upper thighs

picked up the 30DS this week to tone up a little before my boyfriend gets back into town in two weeks. i started on level two (i've done the 30ds twice before) & after only two days, my upper thighs feel like they are on fire. i know thats normal, but this time around, the soreness has lasted for longer than a day (like usual...for me, at least).
any tips/tricks on what you do to get rid of soreness?
i've had to skip working out for the past few days because they've been hurting so bad. feeling pretty lazy.
thanks

Swim. Swimming gets rid of almost all my muscle issues.
I started a running program last night and my upper thighs were SO sore and stiff this morning. After half an hour in the pool - all better.0 -
I would definitely try foam rolling and stretching. I always do following hard legs/glutes days and feel 100x better for my next training session.0

Try stretching them out before and after your exercises. Having a warm bath or shower (where the water hits on your thighs- like a massage) would likely help too. Hope you feel better0
