Back ground Cals

Hi guys
Sorry so many questions - have had so much help already on this site in the space of 24 hres.
Im determined to get this right!
I have a HRM so want to log all the excercise I do and concentrate on eating some of my excercise cals to avoid getting tired and gving up!
Do people take off Back ground cals? if so How do I work this out - I dont want to claim back too many - my body would burn some cals just existing anyway in the time logged working out.
Can anyone shed any light?
thanks x

I haven't tried, but I suppose you could take your minutes exercising multiplied by your baseline calories (the ones mfp would give you if you had a goal of losing 0 weight) and then divided by the minutes in a day. That'd be rough and making 2 assumptions: 1) each minute of the day has the same calorie burn for the baseline and 2) that the baseline calories is correct.
To me thats too much fine tuning - but that's me. I use the mfp calories as a guide - if I'm losing faster than I want I increase them - even if that means selecting .5lb a when I'm aiming for 1lb.0 -
