I'm 74 and a great grandmother. I have some serious health issues, so I find it hard. But have lost a few pounds and am doing better. I have a stationary bike that I can use most days and some dumbbells. I find I do better weight loss wise if I ignore the "extra" calories you get from exercise.

I'm 64 and am almost half way through the 100 I have to lose. Its all about diet, as far as I'm concerned but moving more does help and my Fitbit encourages me to move more. This summer when I was doing some seasonal work as a road-crew-flag-person, I walked as much as 4 or 5 miles a day and for sure I lose well those weeks. Now I'm averaging about .8 or .9 pounds a week. I'm happy to lose slowly and steadily.
