Barcode scanner inop

Since I downloaded the newest update on my iPhone 4s all I get is black screen with the bar code brackets visible. It will not scan at all. I tried the other suggestions of going to the camera app and doing the focus things. Nothing!!! Any ideas on how to get the bar code scanner working again?

    I had the same problem, and just figured it out.

    MFP doesn't have permission to use the camera on your phone. To remedy this, close your MFP app, and go into "Settings" on your phone, then tap "Privacy", then "Camera". Once you are in the "Camera" setting, slide the button on (so that it displays green), and close "Settings". Now, when you reopen MFP, the scanner should work.

    Hope this helps the two of you (if you haven't already figured it out), or anyone else who runs into this challenge in the future.
