I know there has been a lot of discussion about weight gain after exercise but I wanted to check something. On Saturday I walked (unusual for me) 21 miles (with 1000m height gain) and I have since put of 3 kg. Can this really all be due to water retention/lactic acid do people think? Thanks for any help

Yes, that is possible. And congrats on walking 21 miles in a day!0

For future reference - on the day my weight was 198.7. It then went 200.1, 203.4, 200.2, 198.2. Worried unnecessarily!0
