It is easy to fall into a boring rut of the same snacks every day. What have you found to be delicious, in-between-meal snacks, that don't put you over your daily calorie limits? Here are a few of mine to share. My tummy does not digest fresh veggies very well, so for me, this is not on my snack list). I'm looking forward to finding some new specific items for my own diet and hope the lists help you on your journey as well!

1. Fresh fruit (goes without saying)
2. Brown rice crackers (19 crackers for 130 calories)
3. Laughing cow cheese (35 calories)
4. Freshly popped popcorn (50 calories per cup)
5. Vanilla yogurt with fresh berries (I do not eat flavored yogurts... look at the ingredients!!)

What are your top 5?
Keep the faith and stay motivated MFP friends!!

I love Sargento's reduced fat cheddar cheese sticks with sugar snap peas (about 100 calories combined for one serving each) or jack links tender beef "chunks" (70 kcal per 1 oz which averages 4-5 pieces)

Have you ever tried the Siggi's brand Greek yogurt? Ingredients: Pastuerized skim milk, organic agave nectar, passion fruit/pomegranate (the flavor that I chose), live cultures. This flavor is 5.3 oz (typical size) and 100 calories, O fat, 11 grams carbs, 14 grams protein and their cows are rBGH free! Yummy

I like these options... they're all good protein sources, and low in calories.

Fiber One brownies (90 calories), Weight Watchers Jalapeno string cheese (50 calories), Weight Watchers Candy bar Ice cream (150 calories), Special K Protein cereal (120 calories for 3/4 cup), Sugar-free jello (10 calories), Fat-free Sour cream and Onion Pringles (70 calories for 15 chips), and 100-calorie popcorn. I don't eat the healthiest but I did manage to lose 184lbs in a year eating all of that stuff plus exercising. I love snacking!

Quest bars or any other protein bars, rice cakes (sometimes with nut butters), protein shakes, bite size candies... I guess this is as low calorie as I go and not much of a snacker. I'd say veggies, but that goes with main courses.

Here are my top five "go-to" snacks (excluding raw veggies):

    - cheese and crackers
    - avocado with salt (so simple, but so awesome)
    - Kind bars
    - fresh fruit of all kinds
    - nuts of all kinds, usually cashews, peanuts, or almonds.
