Is anybody else tired of eating sometimes? I'd rather be doing something else

It's such a weird complaint after not that long ago, having serious problems with over eating. Now that i've stuck to my calories for awhile, i'm just kinda...full on less and the idea of eating is like "ugh. I have to eat AGAIN?" like taking time out of my day to eat is such a drag. I could be doing other things! Eating seems like such a chore. Whereas before it took me 1500 calories or more sometimes to get full, now for a meal i can have 600-700 and i'm fine. Its the weirdest thing when my entire life up until recently was all about eating. Thinking about food...looking forward to it...rewarding myself with it. Now it's like "meh. It's just food. No big deal".
Does anybody else get like this or am i just weird? It's about time to eat again and i'd rather be out for a walk or something.

LOL Yes this is so true, though more so when I reach the end of the day. I would have maybe 300 calories yet and I would dread thinking of eating anymore.
Just a few days ago I have ended my maintenance break. Boy, was that annoying. I thought my body would have gotten used to the amount I was eating but I was so wrong.
I should be happy to eat whatever I want but after the first week I was so tired of eating so much. I didn't gain or lose, so I knew I was eating the correct amount. It was still so hard to get 2300 in. I even tried adding more olive oil to my foods.0 -
I get this all the time! I typically eat 3400-3500 cals a day and usually hate my lunches. Dinner and Breakfast are usually quite tasty though.0

Never! I love food and love to cook, so I look forward to doing those things and then eating them. Sometimes I get tired of cooking...but never eating.
If I have a lot of calories later at night, but feel satisfied, I just leave the calories as is. I know I'll make up for it on the weekend!0 -
What a fortunate problem to have! No matter how many months I consistently ate at a deficit, I never got used to it. I lost 80 pounds over a year once and even after a YEAR of eating at a deficit I was hungry and food was obsessively on my mind 24/7. The only thing that changed this was weight loss surgery. Now although I still enjoy food, sometimes I get near the end of the day and realize I still have 10 grams of protein and 300 calories left to get in and feel like it's a chore to find something that I want to eat that will fill my nutritional requirements. WEIRD, but I'm not complaining.. It sure beats the constant misery of feeling hungry and not able to experience the satisfaction of feeling full without overeating.

Yes- I was just saying that by the time I buy food, prep it, log it, eat it, there's just no time left in the day! I'm not used to being unable to finish my food and it's still so strange. I usually end up eating half of my meal and saving the rest for a few hours later. I don't like having to eat every few hours, but I need to. Eating now is more of a chore and it's just to get me through my next workout instead of fun like it used to be.0

I am more tired of the fact that food seems to have become a larger part of my daily thoughts and life than before I started monitoring it and counting and focusing on healthy foods rather than simply following my natural needs and wishes as I did before. And since I was never overweight, and exercise was what I needed really, it all seems a bit pointless. But after years here, it has become a sort of addiction, this site, and the lifestyle that comes with it has become quite ingrained.0

Not really tired of eating, but sometimes I put it off because I don't feel like weighing and recording it, lol.0

Eating should always be enjoyable. Are you saying you need to eat every few hours because of the whole "you need to eat 6x a day" crap? If so, you can eat once a day or 10x a day, doesn't matter. I eat 3-4x a day depending on calories (trying 4x now that I'm at maintenance the rest of the week, eating 800 cals per meal 3x a day was uh.. a bit much lol).
Otherwise, why do you say you need to eat every few hours?0
