It is perfectly possible that your scale reads 3lb less than it did yesterday, but you won't have lost 3lb of fat overnight.
Inches and fat % will give a better picture, but if you're recording only weight, record it. Who knows, maybe it was yesterday's that was incorrect.0 -
Yup I agree- the scale can be a bit crazy day to day- water weight and all- but go with today's weight, and then don't weigh again for one week.0

Sure its possible if you burned 10,500 calories yesterday.
Water weight and waste mainly.
Sure feels good though!0 -
I would say that your scale might be off. Always make sure your scale is zeroed out before using & is on a level surface. I always weigh myself 3 times just to make sure that it is accurate. If all that is accounted for, then it is Sweet! that you lost that much in a day. :flowerforyou:

I see my weight do that all the time. The other day I went down 4.2 "overnight" (that was after a 7 pound jump) my body is crazy that is why i weigh in everyday. I need to keep track of everything I am doing until i get this all figured out! I know it is water/waste weight but i don't care that number went down lol!0

Yup i weighed in 3x in a row at the same number. Also the scale was at zero and it was in the same spot as yesterday i guess i can record it for now. My other scale also shows a weight loss.. yes i have 2 scales! lol0 -

Well, then Congrats are definitely in order! Pretty funny that you have 2 scales! Not a bad idea though. Making sure that they both say the same thing just helps you in the end, if anything, for your piece of mind.
