It's only 12 pounds...

Hi, I'm wondering if anyone is in the same shoes - I have put on weight over the last year or so, pretty slowly and although I noticed at the time it has only recently become a problem for me - making me feel uncomfortable and affecting my confidence etc.

I can feel my belly when I'm sat down at work which is not usual for me and I my clothes don't flatter me any more. I've put on around 12 pounds in total but the real problem is that I stopped exercising and kind of lost motivation - I'm back at the gym as of last week and determined to feel like me again but I feel like it's an impossible task.

If you're still reading - is anyone else in a similar boat with a relatively small about to lose but feeling like it's a huge task? Is anyone on the other side and has lost the extra chub and has any tips or words of encouragement :smiley:
