Hello there,
My names Mika, im 5'1, 21 and im a college student.. I never really had a problem with my weight until recently, because I used to play tons of soccer. Ive gained 20 pounds in the last 1-2 months and Im starting to feel very very uncomfortable in my own skin. I suffer from bad anxiety, and am constantly stressed that people are staring at me. I know that this is illogical and most people have better things to do than judge me, but trust me Ive tried reasoning with myself many times...
One issue with dieting for me is that Im a very picky eater. I dont like to mix things together. So things like salads or anything that requires cooking isnt really my thing.
I am thinking about trying out a water diet. Dont worry there is food in the diet! Has anyone tried anything like this and had any success?

What is the plan for after you lose the weight?
Losing with a gimmick and not learning what your body needs will only lead to a regain, and most likely it will be more than you loss. This causes a vicious cycle that makes weight loss harder, skin elasticity issues increasing the likelyhood of loose skin and/or stretch marks.
You do NOT need a special diet. Just eat less than you burn.
Also many college freshmen gain 10-20 their first year. Convenience food is normally high calorie, drinking and not always (like you stated) being as physically active.
*Log EVERYTHING
*Weigh Solids
*Measure liquids
*Exercise for fitness
(weight lifting is my recommendation)
*Be Honest with Yourself
*Measure yourself, take silly pictures and then enjoy your progress.

THEN READ IT AGAIN........ :drinker:
If you have 75+ lbs to lose 2 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 40-75 lbs to lose 1.5 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 25-40 lbs to lose 1 lbs/week is ideal
If you have 15 -25 lbs to lose 0.5 to 1.0 lbs/week is ideal
If you have less than 15 lbs to lose 0.5 lbs/week is ideal0 -
Yeah I realize how stupid of an idea it was about 3 days in. Man was that miserable. I also went back to the website to find the diet plan and realized the post was on a forum for women recovering from eating disorders. I felt pretty silly. I've actually been able to lose quite a bit since Ive been trying- just by making some simple changes0
