Ive been having a lot of trouble with long distance running so far, I did the Instanity program and it did increased my speed/time for short distance running by a lot but not long distance. most of it is because my calves hurts halfway through running which slower me down a lot(I have no stamina problems), does running in general will help me get rid of that pain away?

I had a calf strain injury back in the spring while training for a half marathon. Took some physical therapy to get me up and going again, but I was able to run the race.
