Changing my goals.

I had my gall bladder removed on Tuesday and finally am able to eat "semi-normally" today. My tummy is still pretty sensitive to food but I find myself very hungry every couple of hours because all I can get down are very small meals, plus I've been on a liquid diet the last few days.

I've decided to change my goals to maintaining for the next few weeks or so. I feel like while I'm healing I really shouldn't worry about losing weight, but I don't want to gain either. I want to keep it healthy because I know my body needs all the healthy nutrients it can get, but I also feel I should definitely eat if my body is telling me too.

Do you think this is a good idea?

Absolutely. Go into maintain mode until the Doc clears you to do otherwise.

YOU SHOULD NOT EVEN THINK THE WORD DIET WHILE RECOVERING FROM SURGERY. EAT WHEN YOU'RE HUNGRY, EAT HEALTHY. GOOD LUCK, FEEL BETTER, RED
