Other Women, I need help!

It's the first day of my period and I can't stop eating. I've tried eating a little extra salt, a little extra sugar, a little extra fat, but nothing is making me full today. I'm like a black hole. This only happens on the first and sometimes second day of my period. What can I do?

Eat more. I am the same way. This time of month we are burning more calories than normal, so we need extra energy. Go for iron-rich foods! not snacks! good luck!0

Ahh, the dreaded eat beast. I get it a couple days before my period. Last night on top of my normal calories, I had 7 oatmeal cookies and a glass of milk. This morning I was still down by 1.3lbs though so I think our minds are constantly seeking food because our bodies need it around this time. Good luck!0

Are we actually burning more calories just from having our periods? I've never heard that before! It makes sense though. Good to know.
I'll have to schedule my 2000 calorie days accordingly from now on (I fluctuate calories every few days since my body adjusts to deficiencies so quickly). Thanks for the advice!0 -
Same thing happens to me. I try to go for fruit instead of sweets and that sort of thing but I definitely let myself eat more than usual.0
