HRM + Disneyland ?

Ok, so we're going to Disneyland on Saturday! Here's my question. Do I wear the HRM all day long, or just go with it and not worry too much about eating since I know I'll be walking the whole time? (I did that last time we went and I think it worked out really well, but that was before I got the HRM) ... There's a part of me that wants to wear it simply because I'm curious, but I know that it might get uncomfortable after wearing it all day, and sometimes it stops working if I've worn too long (if it shifts too much or the strap isn't wet anymore it stops reading my HR), and since I won't have my purse, I won't have anywhere to put it if I want to take it off other than maybe my husband's pocket, which isn't necessarily the safest place for it. Thoughts? Advice? Suggestions?

I would leave the HRM at home and just enjoy the magic. The past couple of times at Disney I lost or maintained from all the walking/dancing about and I ate brownies for breakfast

Do you have a bodybugg? I don't know that HRM are really designed to be worn all day, are they?

Anyway, I do have a bodybugg and can say that I usually don't have to do a formal exercise that day and my calorie burn for the day is as if I did a 400 calorie workout. I say leave it at home and enjoy yourself but still be mindful of what you are eating. I went this past Tuesday and really blew it on the kettle korn LOL!! The scale was not kind to me after that.

I don't know; I don't think that they are, but if I was sitting around doing something minimal I wouldn't worry about it too much if I wanted to wear it, you know? But walking around all day and being out... yeah. :ohwell:

    I have a Polar HRM.

Yeah, I'm pretty good at being aware of what I'm eating and making the "lesser of two evils" choice when it comes down to it, LOL. My favorite things there are the pineapple and the pickles, so I can make do on mostly those, hahaha. I've done Disneyland before while on MFP and logged everything afterwards (adding MFP calculations of exercise for the day) and I was way under, so I know that I can handle that.

Thanks, everyone, for your input. I have a few more hours to decide, but I'm leaning towards no at the moment.
