paleo diet/ exercise?

I am wanting to start the paleo diet , I've been reading about it a lot online and it really interested me. I'm currently 130lbs and am wanting to go down to 120lbs (as this weight would be more suitable for me , since I'm 5'2). I was 120 at one point and I liked the way I looked at that weight. Im wanting to have my whole body toned as well as a nice flat tummy. I was wondering what exercises I would combine with the paleo diet for quick results and to reach my goal? Also what are some quick and easy meal plans? Thanks ! :)

  • You'd probably have more luck with your questions if you joined a paleo group here. That, your posts get buried unless it's generalized or conterversial. I wish I could be more help..hopefully someone will chime in.

    curious - what is it about "paleo" that you like? What is wrong with eating regular foods in a slight calorie deficit and building in a strength training program???

    Do a beginner strength program (like Stronglifts 5x5, Starting Strength, New Rules of Lifting, Strong Curves, or all-pro beginner) 3 days a week, and if you're not too tired from doing that, add a little cardio on some of the off days.

    I'm not sure about paleo meal plans. The biggest problem I've seen with paleo dieters is they sometimes eat more calories than they think they are, and then they gain weight. Use MFP to count your calories.
