My name is Doreen. Had a baby 4.5 months ago (i also have a 3 year old) and thought i would give this a try. Trying to lose 10 pounds. I am breastfeeding so I am wondering how many calories I should be consuming to lose weight but that it won't affect my milk supply. I entered my weight and age when I signed up and according to the site I should be consuming 1300 calories a day in order ot lose 1 pount a week. I know this is low.

Any infomation would be appreciated.

    Ah, the breastfeeding days - brings me back. My two are 8 and 11 - so pretty far back..

    Yes, you need to bump up by a few hundred calories - depending on your weight. I will check my weight watchers books when I get home and repost.

  • Thanks Janie. I weigh 140 lbs (5'4" tall). I am back to my pre-pregnancy weight but I do want to lose 10 lbs.
    Just tracked my food today. Ate pretty well but I was over my caloric limit! Haaaa Just tracking for the fun of it.
