MFP has some great tools and information for you for your new lifestyle. You can put your personal information in the app and select a 1 to 2 pounds per week weight loss goal.it will give you a target amount of calories to hit every day. Make sure you get to that mark as close as possible keeping track of your portions with the help of a scale or some other type of measuring means. Calorie deficit is key. When you work out you burn calories. I like to use a heart rate monitor while I'm working out as it gives you a pretty accurate estimate of the calories you burned. Some people here will say to either eat half of those calories back or all of the calories back, your preference. You'll do great, lots of support here and good luck!0
