NUTS

Okay, so i always knew that nuts were calorie dense... but i never knew how calorie dense they were until recently when i actually started to weigh my food and use the calorie counter app to see the calorie content!
So i've been overeating on nuts for god knows how long, but i havent gained any weight? Id generally have about 990-1400 calories per day with my meals... but then i'd eat a load of nuts as well, and coming to think of it now, i probably ate way over 2000 calories per day including the nuts.
So if i stop eating nuts and exercise more, will i lose my last 10lbs?

Well... it's kind of more simple than you're making it. Eat at a deficit. You will lose. I'd also take into account your macros.0

I know what you mean Rue. I was going to add a little snack pack of cashews to my lettuce wraps last night till I read the back. It would have almost doubled the calories of my supper!0

What kind of nuts do you typically eat?
Weighing and counting can help one to get the real picture for sure.

I eat nuts every day. I have to measure them on my food scale every time, otherwise I'm very prone to over indulging. I usually measure a 1/4-1/2oz portion. I mix in some dry, no sugar added raw dried coconut flakes (about 10g) and sometimes add 3-4 raisins or mini chocolate chips. It makes a filling trail mix.
And I CANNOT buy & keep any but butters in my house....I simply cannot control my intake with the temptation to keep taking spoonfuls!0
