Okay, since Monday the 26th I was 144lb and went up to 146 after the day before where i did a 20mins of jump rope and on monday I did 27mins of 30 day shred. I've been working out since then 2hours on the elliptical and I went down a pound but all my inches went up an inch. Why is this happening? I burn around 1,175 and I eat 1,200. This shouldn't be happening?

Now I am confused ... "I burn around 1175 and I eat 1200" ... What about the calories your body is burning ANYWAY? You burn calories all day every day no matter WHAT you aren't doing. When you add exercise, you need to compensate for that so your body isn't hoarding resources...
You need to eat 1200 calories on the days you DON"T work out and add extra calories when you burn extra calories....0 -
you're about to get a million responses telling you need to eat more. you cant burn everything you're eating and be making good progress, silly.0

On your home page the lowest intake you should have is 1200...under the 'net calories'. If you are only eating 1200 calories a day and then burning 1000+ you are leaving yourself with nothing left in your system. It's great that you are exercising hard, just reward your body with the fuel it needs.0

I agree too... The other day it was about 8pm and I looked at my journal and my net calories was like 560... I was like oh crap... guess I better eat thankfully I m up till at least 1am everynight... I ate because I had to to get closer to 1200 net... It can be hard sometimes if your really not hungry but you dont want to be in starvation mode!0 -
It's in staravtion mode ...? I never thought of that. Well if I do 2hrs 6x a week how much am I supossed to eat?0

That's up to you to decide whatever you burn they say your suppose to eat back. I never eat all my workout calories back, but I try to eat enough to keep from going into starvation mode.0 -

MFP will tell you exactly how much to eat.
It has calculated a daily calorie amount and adds your exercise cals to this.
The numbers are right there in front of you.0 -
If your set to eat 1200 calories and you burn 600, than you've only eaten 600 for the day. Its up to you on how much to eat back, but you shouldn't be any lower than 1200 to avoid starvation mode. So if you burn 600, than you now get to have 1800 calories in a day and you will still lose weight.0

Aside from this 'starvation mode' thing you also shouldn't be weighing every day. Once a week is more than enough, also check your sodium isn't too high and that you're drinking enough water. Sounds like water retention to me :-)0

Ok Im switching to 1 hour of the elliptical. That's 500 or 600 something. Still 6x a week. So ill 1800 so
I'll have to eat and hopefully won't go into starvation mode.0 -

Wow! How do you get 1,000 kcal from 20 mins of work? I suspect you are over estimating your burned calories. Are you using an HRM or something else?0 -
Opps no no, the jump rope was one day and so was the 3day shred. I didn't burn that much in 20 mins.0
