Second Go At This

Hello! Last year, I lost 18 pounds, but sadly I have gained it back. This time around, I have closer to 30 to lose. (I gained back the 18, plus 10 more.) I need some encouragement, and I'm hoping to connect with folks who are on the same path. Problems with my weight effect other areas of my life (work, friendships, romance). When I am trim and feeling confident, I enjoy more success in those areas. That is what inspires me... but I am so discouraged I am having a hard time getting going. Right now, my goal is to walk 5 miles a day and improve my nutrition. I'm thinking about microwave dinners for portion and calorie control. Has anyone had success with this?

I was eating the weight watchers and healthy choice meals, it did help me lose about 13 pounds in two months, but it was hard for me to find ones I really liked, and those I ate I started burning out on them0

Hello! This is also my second time using this application ! The first time was last year, where I went from 170 to 145. I joined the military shortly after and lost another five pounds in basic training. Unfortunately, I gained the fabled "freshmen 15" in my technical school and was back up to about 160 before I decided to go back to this app again. Now I'm down to 141, and looking to get to about 135. This app is FANTASTIC though, and as long as you log in every day and stay true to yourself (and don't lie about little bites of things here and there throughout the day), you really can lose the weight. Honestly, the best way I find to curb your appetite is to fill up with lots of veggies and fresh fruits and home cooked meals that are carefully portioned. That way you can really chow down if you're hungry, but you're not eating out of control with chocolate and fast food. Drinking lots of water is important as well. I know that sweetners (fake sugars) are supposedly bad for you, but when I have a sweet tooth, sometimes I'll make myself hot tea or coffee, and sweeten it with sweet n' low (which doesn't have aspartame in it). Stick with it though, and I'm sure you'll have success!0
