Machines?

I've been wondering if people prefer working out on machines like elliptical or doing basic floor exercises like in videos?

I find that I get worn out much faster when I do videos, but I can go three times as long on a machine and burn more calories.

i prefer quick, floor workouts like bodyrock.tv

i may not burn as many calories as i would on an elliptical... but i certainly feel it the next day more in my muscles.

I have a treadmill and P90X videos. I enjoy the P90X more than walking on the treadmill because the variety in the videos. Walking on the treadmill can get boring even when I'm watching TV.

i like to do a mix of both...i like the quick burns of my treadmill(1000cals for an hour and a half) but i also love the challenge of a proper workout video too, even though i hate that it burns half the calories most of the time

I like doing the Elliptical more then workout videos. I need the visual of what I'm burning off.

I like both personally. I love the treadmill and I am always changing up what I am doing. (C25K, HIIT, High Incline brisk walks, walking while watching tv and sprinting during commercials lol)

I am totally horribly coordinated and can't do a lot of the moves in most of the Exercise TV videos on demand, but I try, and have fun!

This exactly what I do. I usually do machines for 25-45 mins then I do floor workouts!! I have been posting my workouts so check them out if oyu need I ideas. Also do what id working you out the most. If the videos are intense stick with those. You are getting a better workout.

I always felt embarassed to do workout videos. I think it goes back to the days I was forced to try an aerobics class in High school, and never did feel coordinated enough to do the moves. It felt real awkward.

I always preferred either the machines, or doing sprints on the track.
