So I bought this DVD, "Burn Fat Fast - Cardio Blast" that has
10 minute Kickboxing
10 minute athletic interval
10 minute retro aerobics
10 minute cardio dance

Does anyone know how many calories you burn with this DVD? Does anyone have it? I just bought it and going to go try it out now. I was bad today (500 calories over my limit! oO) so I need to burn a lot. (I usually burn 700/hr every day on my stationary bike.)

  • How ironic... I was going to ask the same question! I just bought this DVD the other night as well.... Any insights would be great!

I have this dvd and love it. It really mixes things up and gives you a little of everything. The 4 10min sections are listed in the menus so you can pick and choose which ones you want to do. I usually only do 2 or 3 of them along with some extra toning exercises. I'm not sure how many calories that you burn for sure I've just been going it Aerobics, general. I would guess that that underestimates how much is burned, but I'd rather under estimate than over. It also depends on the intensity level you work at. If you are getting really low on the squats and high on the jumps and kicks you could probably go with higher calories than general aerobics.

    Good luck.

I usually err on the side that with tv/dvd work outs, MFP overestimates. It would be nice if we could enlist the help of a doctor or someone who has a bit more training in the subject of exercise to calories burned.
  • I just did it! I could not follow along half the time! My moves were so bad... haha.. well I guess I will learn the moves in time.
I did 3.5 of them. I did half of the dance workout. That was waaaay too many new moves and I started feeling sick.
I guess it's not bad for the first time.

Do you guys think this whole DVD burns at least 300 calories?
