Work outs for couples?

I haven't posted in the forum in a while, holy crap. I like this new set up, lol. Anyway, I was wondering if you guys could give me some suggestions for workouts my SO and I could do together. We are both in college and live on campus (with no cars..) and we have a rec center which we utilize but I feel like it's getting stale. Our gym DOES have other components, such as racquetball and a rock climbing wall, but I am terrified of racquetball, lol. I love the weather right now but neither of us are runners. He wants to get in shape for boxing next semester and I just want to get fit. I've been losing weight for over 2 years but I don't want to subject him to what I do lol. Any suggestion on fun, effective work outs?

My SO and I got the book New Rules of Lifting and we follow that plan 3 x week together and then as I am a runner, I run alone on the other days of the week, but at least it gets him out to the gym, because usually he doesn't tend to go alone, but loves going with me. Its a great plan for new weight lifters.

Very odd, something I've only seen from my ESL students, my wife says it too. Very funny. :)

this, plus we have good results with zumba and assisted calisthenics. we are also incorporating a yoga routine we found on T-Nation.

Hit tennis balls. Go to a yoga class together. Should be something new to both of you, so one isn't much better than the other.

You mentioned the nice weather. Try looking at local parks or other places to hike. Hiking is exercise and a date with plenty of chance for conversation.

My husband and I have been enjoying biking together recently.
