Easing into things

Hi everyone, I'm New!
My name is Brian, and I'm a 27 year old full-time student. What brought me here is the 50+ pounds I've put on since I left the Air Force a couple years ago. During my time in the military, I had requirements to maintain and an active lifestyle to balance out my bad dietary habits. Now that I'm a full-time student, I've really gotten out of shape! So, by tracking my dietary intake and making small improvements in diet and exercise I hope to get back to military specs!
Using the Army/Air Force standards, I'm using those as a goal: Be able to get a passing grade on the fitness test.
I really like myfitnesspal, as it's passed the test for being usable on a daily basis. I've tried tracking diet and fitness through different ways before, but they always were too cumbersome to stick with for any length of time. The mobile app for this site is a breeze, especially with the barcode scanner!

I know how tough it is to be health conscious while being a full time student! But it is possible. Little changes here and there are what makes a difference. And even short workouts are better than nothing at all. And I LOVE the mobile app too! I probably wouldn't use it if it weren't for the app.
Glad you're here! *sending positive thoughts and motivation your way*0 -
Thanks! I'm just taking it slow and making small adjustments as I go along, that way I can make some permanent lifestyle changes. Hope I stick with it! I think I will, thanks to this site.0
