Eating back exercise calories?

I know I've read it before I just cant find anything about it....do you eat back your exercise calories...why do you think you should or shouldn't?

    I do....some people do not...it really is just a preference. I love food, and sometimes workout an extra day so I have a bit more calories for dinner or something. For me it works, for others it does not. In the end, if you have a caloric deficit over the long run...you will lose weight. If you have a caloric surplus, you will gain weight. It really IS that simple.

    Remember that MFP overestimates your burns, so most people only eat back half.

    It really depends on how many calories we're talking about. If it is a few hundred calories, it might be easier to just ignore them. If it is a couple thousand calories, you'd better eat some of them back or your body may refuse to function correctly.
