Stretching/Yoga workouts.....what do you recommend?

Some of you may or may not know....I have an auto-immune disorder that makes me very fatigued on most days. So workouts are extremely rare (probably only twice in the last 8 mo to a year). I'm finding that I've lost some of my mobility. For instance, I have some problems some days lifting my leg into and out of my jeans when I change my clothes. I'm wanting to maybe try some stretching/yoga workouts since they aren't as "strenuous" as my beloved Turbo Fire and Insanity (oh how I miss those). I'm hoping that they might help with some strength issues (my disorder is degenerate to my muscles) and with the mobility issues I've been having.
Does anyone know of some good routines/DVDs that are of the stretching/yoga type? I've got to start doing SOMETHING......

Maybe look for a video or class or private teacher for a session or 2. My yoga teacher did a chair yoga class for us one day because a lady with ms was tehre. You just use the chair maily as a balance thing. good luck0

I really like Rodney Yee Yoga Burn. It sounds like it might be overkill, but it is really a very slow workout where he takes you in and out of each pose/stretch about three times, which really helps to gain flexibilty. This one is always my nice slow treat on Friday after a good series of workouts the other days.
Best of luck to you!0 -
Yoga is absolutely amazing! I really like Suzzanne Deason's. She's very smooth and gentle, but effective. Yoga is great because it lengthens your muscles and improves your posture. And you never go past your comfort zone.0

don't know of any, but will be watching. My mother has MS and her mobility has drastically decreased over the years. She is fortunate to not be in a wheel chair yet, but needs to be more active.0

I don't have MS but can feel for your mom. I have Dermatomyositis. It's ok if you have never heard of it as it is really rare and I have come across general practitioners who have never had a patient with it. My specialist said it's ok to work out and even use light weights but I just don't have the energy. I figured that Yoga/stretching would be a good place to start and work my way up again....
Thanks for all the suggestions, I'll look into them.
If anyone has more I'd love to hear them.....0
