Looking for support - Losing 40 pounds

I'm already down 15, but have 25 to go for a shorter term goal. All together looking to lose 50. I'm 33 yrs old, i weighed about 240 six weeks ago, which is a little too much. Im 5 foot 8, and had high cholesterol and blood sugar. I'm now down to 224, and already feel great. I just started the south beach diet, which i've had alot of success with in the past.

I weighed in at 182 back in the summer of 2009, so i'm trying to get back to that weight or around it. I have a pretty good muscular build, so losing anymore than that would just be losing my shape.

I'm looking to re-introduce some light weight lifting next week in addition to continuing phase 1 of the south beach diet. Working out too hard without any kind of bread or starch is tough, for me at least.

So im just looking for some friends on here so we can all motivate each other!! Good luck to everyone.

    Ummm... you're pretty fit, so a lot of that weight is probably muscle. What's your BMI?

    If you're referring to that picture, it's a few years old.. my BMI right now is 34.1 body fat is 25%
