Hello Everyone...! So I need to loose 55 pounds, and I am excited to get started. Today was day 1 and I do have to say I am STARVING! But I know that this hungry feeling will soon pass. I hope to make some new wonderful friends that I can help, encourage and support and that will help, encourage and support me on this amazing journey that we all share for weight loss.

Hiya! Feel free to add me as a friend if you want to! Congratulations on taking the first step to a better you. (gosh that sounds corny, but I really mean it!) I'm starving too usually - at least so far. That will change eventually...for me its starting to get better already once your body adjusts to the change-night time is the worst. You know if dieting was super easy then everyone would be perfect and beautiful and skinny, etc. It takes work and effort and (at first) starvation. I try and drink tea...found a natural sweetener called Truvia, so its 0 calories for a cup of tea with sweetener, but it's something else besides water, and the warmness of it comforts me and fills me up temporarily- especially when I need a little something at night right before bed. I've only been on here about 2 weeks but the inspiration and support is phenominal! Good luck to you and welcome!

Hi - great job on the new start to a better feeling you. Something I've noticed is that when I focus on drinking enough water and eating the amount of fresh veggies and fruit that I should be eating I really am not hungry, or starving. I gave myself a free day on Easter and just ate whatever, had some candy, the whole deal and guess what - hungry ALL day! That was very revealing for me. Good luck - you'll do great!
