Snacks for Going away

Hey everyone! I am going away for a weekend and want to bring snacks along with me to eat to stay on track. I eat 5 smaller meals right now. I don't believe I will access to a fridge. I was thinking protein powder, bars, almonds. Just looking for some more ideas! Thanks for your suggestions!

eggs(cooked), carrots, cucumbers, any nuts or seeds, fruit. you can even take yoghurt if you eat it within the first couple hours. canned tuna0

I like popcorn. You can flavor it with all kinds of things for variety. One of my favorites is homemade ranch dressing powder (also good on unsalted pretzels, just spray lightly with Pam, sprinkle the powder and toss to coat), or just some paprika.
I also like fruits, and veggies with hummus. Make sure you portion them out rather than just munching from a big bag. It makes it easier to log what you've actually eaten vs guesstimating.
Also Jerky is a good option if you want something with protein. Look for varieties that are lower in sodium.0 -
I bought some Luna bars for a 5 hour flight. They are THE most disgusting things I think, but are high in protein and only 170 calories, and with a bottle of water just one kept me from feeling hungry.0

I think most protein bars are foul and disgusting. Plus a lot of them aren't nearly as healthy as they want you to believe... look at the fat, sodium and sugar content on them... YIKES! You'd be better off with some dried fruit, nuts, or cheese.0 -

that sounds awesome but I am going to a casino for a weekend to celebrate a birthday and I am trying to stay on track as much as possible and small healthy snacks throughout the day will def help!

justins brand sells natural pb in individual packets, have that on a rice cake with a shake and you are good for one meal. packaged tuna and crackers

Perhaps, but the bars are just easier and smaller. Plus after 7 days of vacation I was not about to go try to find nuts, cheese etc to travel home. I don't eat them often, I consider them subsistence food, survival food. I keep one in my purse for emergencies.
