Do you lick the spoons?

I love baking and growing up I always got to lick the spoon/beaters.... I still do!! When I bake, which is not as often as it used to be because I would just eat everything I still like to lick the spoons. Do you do this? If so, do you count it? And how would you count it?

  • Totally, life isn't good if you don't lick the spoon.

Depending on the spoon size, I log half a spoon of whatever it is.
  • Also if you want to log something like cake batter...I usually search for it in the database and take the one with the most calories. It might be less, but it's good to have some cushioning in case.

Yep I'm a spoon licker, I don't log it cause it makes me feel like I got away with something.

I give the spoons to my kids to lick. Makes the temptation easier to resist.

Yep...all spoons go to my daughter. I'm not a raw batter person unless it's just melted chocolate.

Nope can't do it, when I used to cook with my Nan if I dared to try that I'd get a slap, the beaters went straight into the hot soapy water. To this day I can't lick a beater but I can't stand the taste of uncooked batter anyway so it's no loss :)

    Raw cookie dough...cake batter...my weakness.

I love baking. It's my favorite hobby. I haven't baked in over a week (which is a long time for me, I usually baked at least twice a week) because I know that I currently don't have the self control needed when it comes to consuming.

You're a pessimist if you don't lick the spoon.

Log it as a tablespoon as this or that - I like the spoon too - especially peanut butter!

I always lick the spoon, I never log it. I don't log when I lick windows, either.
