What to do if you are a night owl and you stopped eating by 7:30? Nope, I am not sleepy so I am not going to bed early

I dont really see the point in not eating after 730. I eat small meals throughout the day to keep my metabolism going. So why would I stop at 730 if I know I am going to be awake fore 6 more hours???? I say, if they are healthy small snacks, go for it!~! but rememeber, the calories still count!~!0

I don't stop eating at any particular time. Just make room in your calories for a snack at night. I am rocking the hummus and flat out pitas lately0

I have read several articles that stated your body doesn't care what time of day you eat just as long as it gets fuel. The latest I eat is 8:30-9pm and I am in bed by 11pm. So if you stay up later I do not see a problem with eating later. I believe it to be a myth not to eat anything after 8pm.0

I keep "little treats" like 6-8 almonds, 125ml yoghurt or 15 ml good organic peanut butter for when I am peckish before I go to bed. Another treat is some low cal jelly, frozen berries and a few spoons of yoghurt...... this one is quite good if you have a seet craving.
There is proof that it is good not to eat 2 hours before bed, but if I need a snack I go for it!!0 -
I work night shift on the weekends and still stay up late during the week even when I'm not working (it's 4:30am now and I'm wide awake). I have a problem with eating at night as well. One thing I try to do is treat my night hours as if its the day and day as night. So, if you sleep during the day, whatever time you wake up is breakfast even if its 3pm. I set aside a time within that 24hr(3pm -3pm the next day) for 3 meals, 2-3 snacks and sleep. You can do the same as everyone else, just at different times. Oh, and if I know I'm not going to sleep much ( go to bed late but have to get up early) I try to exercise a little more to afford some extra calories. I hope this helps you a little.0

Not trying to be rude at all, but can you show me where the proof is? I keep reading that it doesn't really matter what time you stop eating in regards to whether or not you're burning calories.0
