Homemade almond butter; what's its shelf life?

So I'm going thrifty this Christmas for non close friends and family, and making a variety of budget friendly gifts. It's going to include a lot of homemade items, and I was interested in making samples of homemade almond butter; I've seen tutorials that it is ridiculously easy to make and adjust to different flavors.
However, I'm not sure how far out in advance I can make them. Does anyone know what the shelf life is for one that is made and sealed off immediately afterwards? Do you think it will keep for the next month, or should I make it closer to December? The internet has not been too helpful for me so far, so I figured asking people who may have made it may yield better results.
Thank you!

I've made apple butter and pumpkin butter. Froze them in October and gave them as gifts in December. I think they are good in the freezer for 6 months.0

If you keep the air from it, fat has a good shelf life. It readily picks up odors I find though.
So, frozen like stated, or a piece of saran wrap pushed onto the top and in the fridge should be good.
I eat butter until it tastes stale.0 -

See, I would be the same way...but the last thing I want is to hype someone up for this awesome homemade gift, and then accidentally give them intestinal or nasal distress, haha.
Frozen seems like a good way to go!
