I'm going out to the bar with friends tonight and i need some suggestions on drinks that are lower in calories/carbs/sugars.

    Hard liquor will be low carb but most likely high calorie, especially with mixers.
    Beer can be low calorie, but tends to be higher carb.
    Sugar will all depending on what you're ordering, and what mixers are used in it.

    I would research some stuff the bar has ahead of time, and make decisions that way. You could go the club soda and vodka route, but that doesn't seem too fun to just have those all evening!

    Half soda water half cranberry with lemon. About 50 calories.

    Straight liquor is always the best choice. Light beers won't mess you up too bad either. Have fun!

    Scotch and soda is my go to drink when I am out.

    I like to do flavoured vodka and club soda, or vodka lime.
