Hey! I'm in college trying to stay healthy, but finding it difficult with all the late night pizza and unlimited cookies in the cafeteria. I'm looking for advice on how to stay motivated to keep my diet under control as well as looking for friends to help motivate! Add me if you want :)

That's a tough one, I remember when I was on the meal plan and the unlimited food and and all you could eat, ect. I lost about 40lbs my freshman year while still on the college food plan. You could get your food to go, not sure what options you have there, but I stuck with the soup and salad bar in the cafeteria. Helped a lot.
  • Yeah, my problem is that I get so bored with salad. What I really need is to not grab 4 cookies on my way out every meal!

It's definitely hard, especially when everyone around you is indulging (and the late night snacking can really get you!). Definitely like the take it to go suggestion, or maybe put a limit to one cookie, or one only on certain days. Regardless, it's most important to fit in some exercise! If you get into (or continue to maintain) a fitness routine you might be less tempted to indulge- you won't want to ruin your hard work. Good luck and stay positive :)
