Hi, I'm 22, 5'8.5", and currently weigh 128lbs (female). I've been on a diet and weight training program to get some muscle definition/toned physique. To do so, I was recommended to drop more body fat by restricting my daily caloric intake to 1435 daily (of course, I eat more than 1435 calories a day, what I mean is that my net calorie intake for one day is 1435 after factoring in my workout sessions) and boosting my daily protein intake to 1 gram per body weight. I've been doing all of this. A month ago, I definitely felt the changes I was making to my body and was hungry all the time (especially during the night). I'm starting to see some definition in my abdominal area, but lately for the past three weeks, I'm not feeling hungry any more. I'm still sticking to my diet plan as usual, but I find myself not so desperate for food lately. What is that telling me? Do I need to do anything/change my plan a bit?

I train 6x a week (2 hours a day at the gym with alternating days for upper and lower body). There are some remaining body fat in belly area that I'd like to lose, but I'm kind of stuck right now, because I don't know what else I need to do. I understand dropping body weight/fat is not going to automatically get me the fit/toned physique I'm looking for, but what else do I need to do? For those of you who are fitness freaks, please help me answer these questions I have. Also, please enlighten me on why I'm not feeling hungry any more when my calorie intake is only 1435. Thanks!!

Other info: I started my routine almost a year ago and have seen drastic results. I'm doing this at a pace that's healthy. A year ago, I weighed 145-150lbs before dropping to my current weight. I'm getting the toned results and I can see them in the mirror, but the remaining body fat is really getting to me and I just don't know what to do.

Change your food plan a bit. You might have hit a plateau.

What's your total calorie intake like? I don't log my workouts at all. I set my calorie goal based on progress. If I'm making progress towards my goal, then I keep it where it's at. Doing it this way takes into account my workouts and I don't have to keep track of total and net calories.

Are you still progressing now? Are you seeing reduction in body measurements? If you're seeing ab definition, then you're getting pretty lean. It's a slow process from there. Just keep at it. If you're not progressing, you may need to eat a bit more.
