Students- tips for healthy lifestyle!

Hi I'm a student! I've had a couple of months out from studying and have learnt a lot about eating healthily, and have lost the extra weight I put on during my first couple of years.

Going back to uni soon and I'm a bit worried I'll lose all the progress I've made because of stressful exams, the late nights, and socialising.
Anyone have any tips for maintaining a healthy lifestyle whilst being a student?!

Dont cave to peer pressure ;p Honestly though thats what it will come down too. Been there, done that. The momentary satisfaction isn't worth compromising your long term happiness. Just try to keep that in mind I guess is the best advice.
  • My advice is try to be careful in the dining hall. It can add up really quickly in there, especially if it's an all you can eat style hall. It gets out of control. It did for me.

Thanks, wish I could take credit but pretty sure that I read it some where.

Thanks for this! :D You're right, peer pressure is definitely a killer at uni... not even obvious or negative peer pressure but just the small fact of having loads of people around you eating badly and drinking a lot!!
Gotta remember that my goals aren't their goals ;)

Yesss this is my problem! I've got really used to cooking healthily and I could manage just fine by myself, but when I go back there are no kitchens as the students are just supposed to use the dining hall every day.
I know it's a luxury to have food cooked for you and it seems strange to complain about it, but it will be hard to resist when all these unhealthy options are right in front of me! :/
