update-51 lbs now in 4 weeks

edited November 2024 in Success Stories
went to bariatric clinic this morning. I have now lost 51 lbs in just 4 weeks and weigh in at 496. This is the first time in over 6 years since I have been under 500. I told them I wanted to delay the surgery for now and try to lose on my own and they said that was fine. Today was my second visit with them and today was supposed to be where they look over my food logs and tell me what I am doing right and wrong and give suggestions. She said I was doing an excellent job and keep up with what I am doing. I go back in 5 weeks. I am so happy. I am making a goal of loosing 100 lbs total by Feb. 1. So come on guys, if I can do it-you can do it too.

Great work my friend! Keep doing what you're doing, add a little exercise or increase the amount of exercise you're doing as the weight drops off and you'll continue to see amazing results. We're proud of you.

I'm so glad to hear you've put off the surgery and lost on your own. That is fantastic! Keep up the good work. There is a group called Overeaters Anonymous that can help a lot if it is right for you. It's modeled after Alcoholics Anonymous and can be found on the web.

Good luck with your weight loss and keep at it!
