May challenge for us youngins?

I was thinking we could do a challenge for us younger members. I see a lot of 30+ groups, but have yet to really see one for the teen/early 20s age group. now i have no idea what we would do, I'm just throwing the idea out there and hoping to get some feedback, and then once people say what they'd like to see, set up a thread for us. I was thinking about setting weekly goals to meet (stay under calories/exercise all 7 days/etc), and weekly weigh ins. Any ideas on challenges?

    That sounds amazing ! Im only 19 and see a lot of people that aren't in my age group! It's cool but iv we have a thread only for us young people lol it would be even better!
    Gotta see if there are many of us down to do this :)

    I doubt I'd fit in all to well as I live the life of someone a bit older.... (Same relationship for 11 years, celebrating my 6th wedding anni next week, three kids, typical stay at home mom...)

    I have an almost 2 year old and am a SAHM as well.

    for weekly challenges: water? try a new food? umm idk haha. i'm not super creative.

    My problem is idk how much water someone should drink daily and all that jazz.

    Here is what I have so far....

    Week 1- May 1st-7th: Stay under your calorie goal for the entire week. If desired, we can post our food/calories for the day in the thread.

    Week 2- May 8th-14th: Work out 7 of 7 days for at LEAST 45 minutes. We can put what we've done each day on the thread.

    Week 3- May15th-21st: No late night snacking, and cutting out the candies we eat. If temptation comes knocking, post in the thread for encouragement.

    Week 4- May 22nd-28th:

    Week 5- May 29th-31st (not really a week):

    And of course lose inches and pounds throughout the entire month.

    I like the first part of the challenge, but I have already cut out late night snacking because I eat so many vegetables with dinner I can't bear the thought of more food, lol! But the water goal is a goooood one! The under calories goal is good, but we all have to make sure we are hitting our NET calories. I already noticed a weight gain yesterday and today because I haven't been getting enough with my workout schedule. We could do a weight increase one of the later weeks, like if we are using 5 lbs during certain exercises we should boost it up to 10 in that week... Idk what do you guys think?

    A person should drink 8 cups of water (or 64 ounces) a day :)

    Thats a good idea, but wouldn't apply to me. RIght now I mainly do cardo. I'm doing Turbo Fire, run, and pole dancing.

    I think you should change the 8 ounces a day to maybe 10 to make it a little more challenging? Umm, burn so many calories a week, walk, run, jog, swim, or bicycle so many miles a week? Lose 2 lbs in one week?
