Moment of Panic

When you start preparing dinner with three starving boys at your feet and realize the battery in your scale is dead. Can't get to the store to get another until after their dinner. Looks like I'm eating late!

This is one reason I replaced my lithium-battery scale with a triple-A battery scale. So much easier, if I really needed to I'd scour other electronics for batteries lol.

My husband steals all the spare lithium batteries for his hat. It's got built-in lights and he lives and dies by that thing out in the oilfield. :-(

Oh man, that's a scary thought. Adding batteries to my list now, just in case!

<---checking the batteries in my scale now...

Edit: Just checked my scale and it takes 4 triple A's. Added triple A's to my shopping list.

My scales are pretty new. Plus there's a spare set in the cupboard for hair dye (my OH works for a hair products company, you need to mix the components by weight). I think I'm good for now :)

I'm amazed mine has lasted over six months! Never had to change the battery, and I use mine daily.

This is why I have both a digital and analog scale. May your cupboards never be void of batteries again, OP!
