Fitness magazines or websites

I'm looking for a good fitness/nutrition magazine or website for women. Any suggestions?

Hmmm...not sure about sites, but I'd probably take less stock in the advice in magazines, personally. Having worked for a magazine, my observation (well hell, observation? It was flat-out told to me...multiple times a month, LOL) that mags are generally ad-driven, and will follow trends based on that.

This may not be true of every single magazine on earth, this was just my observation, and this was a trade rather than consumer mag at that.

What exactly are you looking for? Experiences, support, that kind of thing? Or data?

I've certainly noticed the ad-driven types of magazines. I had a free subscription to Fitness and half the damn magazine was ads, including ones that you don't even realize are ads and not articles and it was rather annoying. I'm looking for something about eating a healthy, balanced diet without cutting out any kind of food in particular (other than meat, since I'm vegetarian). I'm also looking for some beginner routines that I can do at home with minimal equipment. I struggle with boredom when it comes to workouts, I need to change it up often. As for food... I'm damn near clueless about nutrients/how many calories I should eat/ etc etc.

    Thanks for your reply!
