    They're tasty.

I don't take supplements of them, because I feel such a thing is a waste of money when I can make my own fermented foods and drinks for far cheaper. However, probiotic foods and drinks are quite awesome for digestion. We currently have root beer that's made from the cultures of fermented ginger, and my husband has had noticeable improvement in his digestion and a much calmer GI when he has some (and it makes a fabulous root beer float).

I've got a growing love for kombucha, and I've been on the lookout for a supplier of water kefir grains so I can keep some water kefir around since it sounds more up my alley than kombucha. I drink it sometimes as much for the taste as for the benefits. Both are a nice carbonated drink for when you want something that isn't soda.

I've made my own yogurt, too, but it's too tart for my taste for yogurt. I don't eat much yogurt in general anymore, anyway, so it's not a big deal. It's a fun project to try at least once, though.

I take probiotics in my protein shake daily as well as greek yogurt for an added boost. I love what they do for me, a huge improvement in my GI as well as improvement of my allergies. I havent been sick since ive started them either

If I have a yogurt a day for 4 or 5 days then my bloating goes down.

And, let's talk about poop...yeah it makes me regular and never constipated.

But, I think the bloat is better because I get way more gassy.

If I miss a day of eating yogurt though it's like starting over for me. I just can't keep with it.

And sometimes the gas and softer stools just make me feel I'm getting over the flu or something. Maybe because I'll miss a day I just haven't waited it out to feel 'normal'.

So I will every so often make sure I have the yogurt every day and feels like a good colon cleanse for me.

(Hey you asked...so there's my experience.)

I make my own kimchi and pickles from radishes and cucumbers I grow in the garden. Try to eat yogurt as much as possible. I also take a couple of Schiff probiotic gummies every day. I'm much more regular when I eat probiotic containing foods. When I stop eating them, I get bloated and my weight loss stalls.

I take them a few times and week and also get in probiotics with homemade yogurt. It has helped my digestion some.
