What is something you think everyone treats as way worse than it actually is?

In case the title confused anyone, what tasks/experiences do you think everyone treats like the worst thing ever, but you feel aren't that bad?
Can be weight loss/fitness related or not. Whatever. I'm not your supervisor.

Immigration from Eastern Europe. It's quite good for the economy and nowhere near as bad as UKIP or the Daily Mail want you to think.0

Vacuuming. It's actually my favourite0

I wish we could 'like' replies on the fora. Totally agree with kennalgar123. However, I think it probably extends to all immigration, because the reason people want to come here (to the UK) is to work, and support their families, not because they want a free ride (there are some exceptions, but why should the exceptions dictate our policies?)...0

You mean I can't rely on the Daily Mail for well informed, high integrity journalism?
But in all seriousness, good point.0 -

I get this. Our toilet at home is never awful enough to be a real problem. It's not much different from cleaning a sink.
A public toilet in McDonald's or something though...0 -

Marijuana. It's a lot less dangerous than cigarettes or alcohol, both of which are legal. IDGAF if you smoke it or not, and I think that we'd save a lot of money if we didn't incarcerate people for marijuana possession.0

Being a man, you can't possibly fathom that A: it's EXTREMELY painful. There is no way to even begin to describe this pain. B: It's not always sunshine and roses. Some women, myself included, have extremely traumatic labor/delivery/injuries that stay with us. There are women who have easier times than others, and there are women who are in agony, and others suffer trauma. Regardless, trust me, this of all things is NOT one that is made out to be worse than what it is. It's EXACTLY as bad or as good as the mother tells you it was.

I married into a family that makes a big deal about things that aren't such a big deal to me:
Not getting thank you cards
Not using the proper stamps on wedding invitations
Not having an immaculate house

I grew up flying on QANTAS and Singapore Airlines, both which have quite nice food. I never understood these jokes until I went to the US and flew United.0 -
