Salt might be from a lot of sweating (i.e. electrolyte replenishment). I don't know about the sugar.0

i notice i get really hungry after my work outs. I started getting granola bars and apples and peanut butter. Watch how much you eat of it but they are very satisfying especially the chewy granola bars with chocolate, i like the 90 calorie ones.0

Is it that time of the month? That's is the time I experience the same thing.0

Going low sugar and low carb will sure a sugar addiction and cravings - but only after about 2 weeks. Still, it's not uncommon to be hungrier the more you work out. Good thing you get some calories back on those days, just choose your food carefully. You don't want to work so hard and then ruin it with a lot of sugar, and beware of those granola bars and any bar, really .. they're packed with crap often times. I stay away from them even if they so called "natural" because you can still eat a natural organic ton of sugar or sugar filled foods. Those aren't going to help your cravings go away in the long run.0

Well i had two small pancakes ( what i said to measure 130 cals) and i added a table spoon of chocolate chips with like 4 tablespoons of flax seed. i think thats okay?0

Try eating a handful of almonds before you workout or a protein drink. Then after have some protein and maybe a banana. You need to replace what your body pulls out when working out. I work out in the mornings so I have a protien shake or some almonds pre work out and eggs after.0

Exercising depletes your body's glycogen stores and sweating flushes electrolytes. Try drinking a whey protein shake that's made with natural sugar (not artificial sweeteners) with milk or soy milk immediately after working out. I bring mine to gym with me so I can drink it on the drive home. The sugar replenishes your glycogen stores, the protein helps your muscles recover and repair themselves almost immediately and you'll get some electrolytes replenished as well.0

I always have some type of protein before working out, and i usually bring my whey shake with me to the gym to drink. and when i get home i have something with protein.0
