I rarely salt anything, but here are some things I like salt on ......

Half an avocado spread on toast and sprinkled with salt and pepper is lovely!! The salt really compliments the avocado. You can put a little tomato on it or boiled eggs for a yummy breakfast. mdloshs4cciq.jpg

And I really like salt and pepper on soft or hard boiled eggs

and I like salt on homemade roasted pumpkin seeds. a great snack!

Salty foods are definitely my weakness. I can easily give you a list:

    beef jerky
    French onion soup
    anything dipped in soy sauce
    shrimp
all frozen dinners (I hate these but they are sources of sodium)
    V-8 juice
    ham
    bacon
prepared soups (my favorite is Kirkland chicken Tortilla which is very low calorie but high sodium)
    most salad dressings
    popcorn with salt
    dill pickles
    olives

She's got it down. Mmmmm jerky.
    Mmm jerky and pickles.

What about salted caramel popcorn? Salty and sweet, for all taste-buds: http://www.taste.com.au/recipes/35262/salted+caramel+popcorn

I have a new love for Harvest Snaps Snapea Crisps. My alternative for chips :)

You say you like sweet, what about salty and sweet?

    Yogurt coated pretzels
    chocolate pretzels
    chocolate covered nuts
sweet popcorn (as someone mentioned, caramel popcorn)
sweet potato chips (Pringles have some for the holidays... they're a bit bland, but the initial taste isn't bad)

Things of the like might work.

I totally understand. I was raised on a low sodium diet. Most commercially prepared foods are unpalatable for me

One thing I like is cucumber slices with some salt sprinkled over them. Not a high calorie snack, but I like it every now and then when I want something salty and refreshing.
