I like to do beef stew for the crock pot. I chop up a tougher cut of beef into cubes along with carrots, onions, potatoes, celery and whatever other really firm vegetables look good. I usually try to make sure that 2/3 of the vegetables are not potatoes. I dump it all in a gallon baggie and lay it flat in my freezer. When I am ready to cook it I just dump everything into the crockpot with 1 cup of beef stock, some pepper, and 2 bay leaves. Cook on high for 5-6 hours until meat is cooked through and potatoes are fork tender. I will usually serve it with a roll and a baked cinnamon apple.0

Chili! We will make a big batch of chili and freeze it into individual portions. Super easy & quick to heat up and pretty healthy too. Great for those few times you don't have anything to cook and/or don't have the time.0
