I had my baby about 2 months ago and I'm ready to lose all my baby weight!! I gained 60 pounds.. I ended up having a c-section so I have a horrible stomach flap. Anyone else in the same boat? I'm 19 years old and I'm ready to feel better about myself and get healthy.

I'm not in the same boat but I have friends who are on the same journey. Best of luck!

Well, I am a momma of 2, pregnant with my 3rd. I gained over 70 lbs with my first, and only about 15 with my 2nd (live and learn, for sure!) I managed to get down to a healthy weight shortly after both of my births and exercised all through my 2nd and now my 3rd pregnancy. I didn't have C-sections, but I can tell you that exercise and healthy eating will help you feel SO much better through the challenges of parenting. You'll keep your energy up, your moods will stay more stable, AND you'll be setting a great example for your little person.
Find ways to incorporate your baby into your routine; there are great online resources for using your baby as a "weight" during exercise and my kids LOVED doing it with me. Slightly bigger/older kids love being in a speedy stroller on walks or jogs. And feisty toddlers can monkey through an exercise video along side you and think it is pure entertainment!
You got this, mamma!!! Good luck!
  • Sorry, read your title and the first thought was ´ I wasn´t even in the same country as you, don´t try to get child support from me´!

My advice. Babies and small children love routines and it helps to set their nap schedules. Get one of those heavy duty strollers with the big dirt-bike wheels and take a few long walks every day at the same time. And as the above poster said, find ways to incorporate your baby into your workouts rather than using them as an excuse not to workout.

And big congratulations on the new baby!
