You mentione dyou eat OK...are you being diligent wit your logging? I was pretty far off when I would just wing it myself without logging everything.

If you are, I would suggest zig-zagging your calories. It really worked for me and was the only way i got to see my abs again!
Oh and i do zero cardio too...just very methodical with my eating and weight lifting..

change your workout. surprise your muscles, you get a better calorie burn. eat over your calories by a few hundred for a day. it really boosts your matabolism. i have heard of the zig zag. my cousins husband did it to train for the airforce. it really worked for him.

i looked at your diary and these are my suggestions:

    1. cut out more of the processed foods.
    2. cut out the sweets. sugar that is processed is your enemy.
    3. cut back your carb intake.
    4. up your protien intake
    5. up your fiber intake

    hope this helps.

What is zig zag your calories?

the way my cousins husband did it is you eat within your weight loss calorie goal for 2 days and the 3rd day, you eat whatever you want, then repeat the cycle.

I just wrote a blurb about this very thing in my blog this morning (I write the blog for me to set the day off on the right foot for myself)
it was about the so-called PLATEAU and an article I read yesterday about 3 women and their being stuck in one place.
the gist of it was ...after nutritionists reviewed their diet and eating habits they found they had given up tracking, skipping one meal and eating a lot more at dinner, taking handfuls of this and that instead of planning their day's calories.
So maybe you can review your diary and see if you can budget some calories a little better?

From my past experiences If I fail at this or black slide then I have to see if my portion sizes have gotten away from me. That is when it gets hard and if I go back to what I did in the beginning I usually lose again.

these 3 ladies profiled in the article did that and each lost 10 lbs and several inches.

just a thought ...hope it helps.

Zig-zag calories just means more one day less the next (mixing it up) whenever I plateau I alter my workout routine, and vary the intensity. Fartlek is one great workout - I walk from one telegraph pole/streetlamp etc then run full pelt to the next marker, then walk to the next etc... but yes, changing routines and diet can definitely help..

    Besr regards, David

Not sure about this, I would not recommend eating a stack of big mac's and chocolate bars on day three... I think it means going over your normal goal a bit more but not just "eating whatever you like" that's how we all ended up on here in the first place...

True, I think that if you just ate 2000 healthy calories on day 3. Maybe an extra serving of chicken and brown rice. I vanilla cone from McDonalds is my favorite treat to add on as well. It is 150 calories and satisfying.
Those are the types of things I would do on day 3. This is an interesting topic. I have not plateau'd yet, but I will remember this and varying the exercise intensity.
