Hi everybody!
I'll spare you the details of my 20+ year battle with weight loss & emotional tear-down syndrome. My profile gives a little bit more detail.
Anyway, I'm Jean. I live in North Carolina by way of Ohio. I'm approximately 165 lbs overweight & I just don't want to live out of control anymore. All that said, I decided to create a weight loss challenge (females only - sorry fellas). If you're interested, I'd love you to join in.
CLICK HERE for details. It's 100% free!
I'm not only the creator, I'm also a participant! ;-) (Remember those hair plugs commercials???!!!)

Hi everybody!
I just wanted to let everyone know that I'm changing the "need to lose" weight. Instead of it being 50 pounds or more, I'm lowering it to 30 pounds or more. So, please tell your friends or anybody else who may be interested.

I'm back after a while being away. My weight, once lost, crept back up after losing a family member. Every time someone close to me passes my weight goes back up. With my number not looking good I am now committed to maintaining a healthy BMI and number so my life will be extended.
Exercise has never been an issue for me. Eating is. I started in September and have lost 15 pounds and hope to do 10-12 more. Getting a fasting blood test done tomorrow and then again in January so I can see if (especially) my ACI numbers are better.
I now have a Jawbone Up24 and it links to Myfitness pal for food tracking. I expect I'll be using these tools for the rest of my life, so I will be a frequent visitor.
Finally had to commit to eating healthier and essentially being hungry all the time for the rest of my life. If I eat until I'm satisfied the weight comes back on. Learning to appreciate minimal whole grain carbs and lots of veggies. Hard to adjust - I'm a carb lover, but necessary to extend my life.
I hope to help others with support and will be seeking support on days when I falter.
So - OP, I live in Ohio and am happy to be a cheerleader and to provide support if I can!
